Weeks ago, reports came in that Hanna star Saoirse Ronan was auditioning for the anticipated Star Wars Episode VII. While rumors speculated that the actress was auditioning for a lead female role, the story was only that: a rumor. However, thanks to an interview with Sky News, it seems that the rumors were in fact true.
Saoirse Ronan did try out for the massive blockbuster. Unfortunately, the details on the story are scarce and the actress could reveal very little. Why? Well as she states, any mention on her audition and the people in charge will "chop off her head with a light-sabre."
Such words can only mean a few things. The first being that Saoirse might have gotten the part; and with this quote, it might mean she will be playing a Jedi/Sith. The other thing to consider is that the character she is playing may be more prominent the we expect, and so the filmmakers would like to keep the role quite. Whether any of these speculations are right, one thing might be true: we could looking at our first official star to Episode VII.
The next chapter in The Star Wars Saga jumps to hyperspace and into theaters in the Summer of 2015.
