Over the past few days, the gaming community has been greatly invested in the upcoming PlayStation event that was announced by Sony, which is expected to bring the reveal of the PS4. Through this announcement, Sony promises gamers will “see the future” at this event, which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 20.
Today, GameSpot confirmed that Sony will be live streaming this event over the Internet. It is stated that Sony will provide further information on details surrounding this live stream in the coming days. At the moment, this PlayStation event is scheduled to take place in New York on Feb. 20 at 6:00PM EST.
Although Sony has not confirmed that the PS4 will be present at this event, it is heavily speculated that this will indeed be the initial revealing of the PS4. While it was expected that Sony would be revealing their next generation system, the PS4, prior to E3, many gamers did not expect this announcement to come so early.
