The band has made no public statement, but rumors on Facebook suggest jamband giants Phish will be touring the US in early-to-mid-summer 2013 with a number of dates in the Midwest. Facebook fan page COjam: The Colorado Jam Band Scene originally posted a photo of what appears to be a summer 2013 tour itinerary for Phish on January 23, and it has since received close to 200 shares and 70 likes.
The visible part of the itinerary contains the following dates:
6/27/2013: KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, KY
6/28/2013: Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, IN
6/29/2013: Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, IN
7/03/2013: Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain, Scranton, PA
7/04/2013: Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Darien, NY
7/05/2013: Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Darien, NY
7/07/2013: Molson Canadian Ampitheatre, Toronto, ONT
7/09/2013: Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, MI
7/12/2013: Alpine Valley Music Center, East Troy, WI
7/13/2013: Alpine Valley Music Center, East Troy, WI
7/16/2013: Usana Ampitheatre, Salt Lake City, UT
There is also an obscured show with no visible date or venue but “Albuquerque, NM” is partially visible.
There are no guarantees any or all of these concerts may occur (witness the recent frenzy over the posting of an alleged Rolling Stones appearance at this year’s Coachella festival). These may only be shows that are proposed or in negotiations, or this could even be someone’s idea of a joke as there is no clear explanation of the source of this information. Nevertheless, Phish fans, especially those living between the coasts, may have something to look forward to this summer.
