Resistance 2 cover.
A forum user at NeoGAF has apparently spotted a billboard advertisement for Resistance 3. According to goldsoundz, the pictures were taken in Shreveport, Louisiana, a location where plenty of motion picture studios choose to film their movies. The billboard may be made specifically for Battle: Los Angeles, an upcoming movie from Sony’s Columbia Pictures.
The unannounced title will be the fourth game in the Resistance series, following Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 on the Playstation 3 in addition to Resistance: Retribution on the PSP. The developer, Insomniac Games, just finished up developing Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. Presumably, Resistance 3 will be released on the Playstation 3 in the fall of 2010. WOO, we know there will be third one of course, and resistance is awesome, cant wait ! Resistance 2 is probably the most giving and big in scale fps ever, even though story was kind of weird, but online, coop, and the gunfights in single player were and are awesome !
Well, in my opinion, it is fake. For one, it is rated in the bottom left corner. For a game that big to be rated and no one knowing about it, I'd say it was fake. That could also easily be a photoshop too. Only thing I am impressed with is that whoever did this put the Empire State Building in the "I" and the Statue of Liberty in the "A", so that's kind of cool. I am assuming still fake but it is kind of cool that it may be used as advertisement in the movie being named in the article. Great find if real, good photoshop if fake, lol.

that pic is as fake as a girls 3rd titty. we know there wil be a 3rd resistance anyway it was kinda confirmed but fake stuff there

Resistance rocks ... I think in the second game, they tried to pull Call of Duty mode with two weapons. They should have stuck to the original weapon wheel it worked, was fun, rinse, repeat. Please go back to the original and improve from there. This is a great fun franchise for PS3 owners
Resistance 1&2 are probably the least quality PS3 exclusives out, I cant believe I got hyped for Resistance 2, so bad

The banner is not fake. It seems like Resistance 3 will tie in with New York somehow. This billboard was spotted in Louisiana, where a film titled "Battle: Los Angeles" is currently being filmed (set for early 2011 release -- after a possible Fall 2010 release of R3). All the information is even at the source.
ammmmmmmmmmmmmm how could that billboard be made for battle: Los Angeles movie when the billboard has the insomniac label and the ps3 label, and has resitance 3 on it?

also i doubt there will be another resistance series after how they ended R2.
what direction could the game go in, they completely killed any possible sequel with the ending of R2.
If this was a fake, what sad person would go to all that trouble to do a fake billboard?
The only thing i can think of is, the games gonna be released around the same time the film is, so they are either just advertising it in the film.

AS THE RESISTANCE IS PLASTERED ON TO A WHITE SKY BACKGROUND, its pretty fair to say this is a photoshop , easily, i love playstation, and hope its true, but there only just finishing ratchet and clank, theres no way insomniac can make 2 games at once, can they>?

I know there's defo going to be 3rd one but this seems too fake and photoshopped , reasons are on the edges of the billboard there are black dots like which should be there, the left hand of the billboard at the edge of the left hand side, seems to be little erased and they tried to fix it with the blend tool. and its too bright for the environment like using render light. Lol I have no LIFE OFFICALLLYYY =]and why is there a random blak line in the middle like they erased the date or something lol

well, I live in shreveport and saw the billboard last week. I took for granted
they were everywhere. pretty cool to hear we have it and no one else does. it's not fake girls!
