As we all know, the latest generation of gaming consoles is on the horizon. With it, both Microsoft and Sony are expected to announce their latest and greatest pieces of hardware in the upcoming months. In addition to all this, we have seen countless leaks and rumors regarding hardware specs for the successors of current generation hardware.
To add to the hype train, rumors of Sony adding a touch pad with "share" functionality to the Playstation 4 has surfaced. Several mock photos have been created on the internet, but today we may have gotten out first glimpse of the Playstation 4 controller.
Details are still being worked out, but check it out for yourself. This very likely isn't a final design even if it represents final functionality. Sony has been experimenting with various prototypes, apparently. It seems pretty awesome, although I would have liked them to do more with the basic shape. There is also word on the street claiming that the controller has revised "L2" and "R2" buttons.
