Rulo Sailing has announced a Sailing Webinar focusing on high wind sailing in the Laser Class. The Webinar features guest presenter Rasmus Myrgren discussing strategy and techniques for maximizing speed in high wind, upwind sailing. This Webinar is a great opportunity for Laser sailors to learn new upwind techniques and reinforce basic Laser skills.
Myrgren, Bronze Medalist in the Laser Class, will also answer questions presented by Webinar participants during the session. The Webinar will focus on the following topics:
- How to improve your hiking technique
- How to avoid hiking injuries
- How to steer on the waves
- Torquing and body movements
- How to trim your sail for different wind and waves conditions
- Plus other related laser techniques
The Webinar will be broadcast on Thursday, January 17th, 2013 at 1900 Eastern Time (UTC -5). There are options for individuals who are not available at the 1900 EST time window.
The cost of the Webinar is $29.95 USD. After registration and payment, the participants will receive the Webinar password. After the Webinar concludes, the participants have access to the full audio and video presentations for future reference.
