The Ruffian Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show, “Thoroughbred” was held at Lincoln Center. For Spring 2012, Brian Wolk and Claude Morais decided to explore their label’s namesake “Ruffian”, the famous filly (female) racehorse and the society surrounding the world of racing. Brilliant colored silks, graphic inlays, and couture details have been abstracted from the world of jockeys and the aficionados who admire them. Masculine and feminine merge in razor sharp tailoring, a signature of the Ruffian House. Saratoga, the Paris Jockey Club and the heritage of this great tradition bring richness and vibrance to the September 10th Runway Show at the legendary Lincoln Center Tents. This season, Ruffian is thrilled to announce its new partnerships with Vince Camuto and Palladium Alliance.
