Beer dinners continue to make their way to event schedules across the Houston area and one of the pioneers in the concept of matching beer with food is Rudyard’s Pub. The folks at Rudyard’s have been pairing malt beverages with appropriate food courses for more than six years and this month, they invite another local brewery for a food and beverage marriage like no other. This happens to the 77th edition of Rudyard’s Monthly Beer Dinner and the featured brewery this month is none other than Fort Bend Brewery, a Missouri City brewing operation now in its second full year. Fort Bend’s own Carl Norberg will be on hand with other members of the Fort Bend family to talk about beer, food, and more.
Featured beers for the evening will include:
- Fort Bend Backyard Blonde
- Fort Bend Farmhouse Ale
- Fort Bend Lightning IPA
- Fort Bend Thunder Stout
- Fort Bend Grand Reserve Barleywine
Each of the above five beers will be paired with an individual food course selected specially for compatible flavors and character. The event is open to everyone age 21 and up and tickets are selling for $45 each if you reserve on April 20 or earlier. Purchase tickets after April 20 and the price increases to $50 per person.
