While responding to President Obama’s State of the Union Address, Florida’s Senator, Marco Rubio, took a sip of water and the liberal media went insane. For the next week, all they talked about was Rubio’s qualifications to be president based on his drinking water while talking. That’s because they absolute last thing they wanted to see happen was for people to actually hear what Rubio said.
Sen. Rubio highlighted everything that Obama’s policies are doing to destroy the economy while enriching government at taxpayer’s expense. Rubio’s response cut to the heart of the problem in Washington, laying them at the feet of Obama and the Democrats, the architects of the economy over the last six years. In just fifteen minutes, he took the lies Obama told in the SOTU Address and exposed them.
Marco Rubio’s success story is an American success story, just the opposite of Obama’s. Rubio explains how the free enterprise system has made America the richest economy in the world, but how Obama is using government to reduce the economy to make more people dependent on them. He highlights the damaging effects of Obama’s policies, explaining how the president has been tearing down the economy, America’s Constitution, and the Republican Party through false teaching. Rubio intelligently informs the listener of how America works better, but the liberal media does everything in their power to see to it that what he said is not heard.
