“Breakthrough Entertainment,” in collaboration with Phoenix Movie Examiner, is giving its listeners an opportunity to see a free advance screening of Warner Bros. Pictures’ re-release of “The Wizard of Oz” in IMAX 3D.
In “The Wizard of Oz,” Judy Garland plays a young woman who is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see a wizard who can help her return home. The 1939 film has been digitally remastered into the image and sound quality of “The IMAX 3D Experience.”
“The Wizard of Oz” opens Friday, Sept. 20 for an exclusive one-week engagement at IMAX movie theaters throughout the Valley but a free advance screening is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at AMC Deer Valley 30. To attend it, simply RSVP via the following link: http://l.gofobo.us/0Y52UR7Z.
RSVPs will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating at the screening will also be first-come, first-served and the theater will be overbooked in an effort to achieve full capacity so be sure to arrive early.
