We love Baltimore, especially Baltimore Harbor, don't you? We had an amazing end to a Royal Caribbean cruise there that coincided with July 4th fireworks. Our young nieces were quite impressed.
If you want to visit in style this Fourth of July, or anytime sooner, consider The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore, a 195-room hotel situated on the city’s scenic Inner Harbor — the spot to be for a heart-of-Baltimore visit. Guest rooms and suites offer stunning views of the scenic waterfront and downtown skyline, and Inner Harbor attractions including National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center.
The property has, for an impressive 26 years in a row — every year of its existence — received the AAA Four-Diamond Award. The lastest announcement came this week.
“We are honored to be recognized once again as one of the finest hotels not only in Baltimore, but in the entire Mid-Atlantic region,” said David Kohlasch, hotel general manager. “Our staff has worked very hard to maintain our very high standards to provide the best levels of customer service. This hotel is built around a quality staff who care about the people who visit our property to enjoy everything Baltimore has to offer. This (AAA) award is a symbol of our commitment to our loyal guests and clients.”
The AAA Four Diamond rating for lodging is awarded to less than four percent of luxury establishments in the U.S. Only 13 hotels in Maryland earned the rating for the 2013 travel year.
To be considered for AAA rating and approval, lodging establishments and restaurants must undergo a thorough inspection by one of AAA’s 65 full-time, highly trained professional evaluators. These evaluators assess the cleanliness, ambiance, amenities, and service of some 60,000 hotels and restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
