It appears that Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided a name for their unborn baby. According to a March 13 report by Mercury News, the couple has elected to honor the grandmothers and Kate, should the royal baby be a girl.
Kate Middleton and Prince William will name the royal baby Elizabeth Diana Carole. Kate's middle name is Elizabeth. Princess Diana is the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry. Kate Middleton's mother's name is Carole. Carole is also the femine form of Charles. Elizabeth is also the name of the current Queen of England, Prince William's grandmother.
“I wouldn't name the future queen anything that is remotely similar to Charles or Elizabeth,” Nicole Winchester, from Oklahoma City, said. “If Kate and William have a daughter, her name should simply be Diana Spencer. Has Prince William forgotten his mother and how Charles and Queen Elizabeth treated her? Shame on him for considering a name that has anything to do with those two.”
Although it is unknown if the royal baby is a boy or a girl, Kate Middleton referred to the unborn baby as “dau...” during a public appearance. The couple is still denying they know the sex of the royal baby.
