Royal baby photos showing Prince George are expected to be released any day now, and the public is already drooling, as evidenced by reports that Twitter records are going to be shattered and celebrity magazines will see unprecedented sales, UPI reported on Aug. 13.

Although they’re not here yet, the much-anticipated royal baby photos are already expected to be shared so widely and broadly that retweeting on Twitter will shatter the old record of 500,000 retweets held by a photo of Barack Obama after his reelection as president.

Indeed, the royal baby photos are expected to create a royal baby boom in sales and social media.

Celebrity magazines and websites already saw a huge leap in sales and traffic when updates and photos were released after Kate and Prince William, the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, welcomed their baby, Prince George, last month, the Huffington Post reported. And coverage of the royal baby hasn’t lost steam yet, indicating that the public just can’t get enough of British royalty and chubby baby’s cheeks.

The forthcoming royal baby photos are expected to give the adoring public a much clearer and more personal look at Prince George. The royal baby was seen in photographs as he left the London hospital where he was born, but many images were blocked by the huge crowd of fans, his hovering parents, and his own swaddling.

Speculation is now centering on the nature of the royal baby photos to be released. Some reports suggest that the royal baby photos will be personal snapshots taken by Kate Middleton and Prince William that will be posted on Twitter — a far cry from the normally professional portraits released by more staid British royal families.
