Royal baby name not yet finalized, despite reports

The royal baby's name has not yet been decided on and it certainly hasn't been shared, this according to a new report that contests previous claims they've settled on a name for a little princess. "Nobody knows what William and Kate are calling their baby or even if they have decided on a name," a royal source revealed to E! News on Thursday. This comes just days after another source claimed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to name a royal baby girl Elizabeth Diana Carole.

Royal baby girl name leaked; Name hints at Kate and William's son's name

With the world hanging on the royal couple's every word -- or letter (remember "d---"), the royal source says the Cambridges are being extremely cautious. "They are being very careful to keep everything to themselves," the insider says. "They are not speaking to anyone about these private matters."

Royal baby rumors are a popular topic given the pending birth of an heir. But the buzz has really heated up in March especially after Kate Middleton's royal slip of the tongue. While meeting admirers in Grimsby a woman claimed the duchess started to refer to the baby as a "daughter." The following day another person came forward and said she called it a "he." Just this week it was claimed the couple had decided on a baby name fit for a princess.

As the speculation about the royal baby mounts, it won't be until July when the Duchess of Cambridge gives birth, that some of these burning questions will finally be answered.
