The royal baby bump recently made its debut as Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was spotted out and about shopping for maternity clothes, PEOPLE magazine reported on Feb. 3.
Prince William’s wife was also spotted recently shopping for jeggings at The Gap in London’s Chelsea neighborhood. The Duke of Cambridge’s mother, Princess Diana, lived in London’s “Sloane Square” in Chelsea before her marriage to Prince Charles. The former Lady Diana Spencer was part of a group of aristocratic young women who were referred to as “Sloane Rangers” in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Kate, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, was wearing a tartan plaid cape, black scarf, black leggings and brown riding boots. It appeared that the severe morning sickness that lead to the Duchess’ hospitalization in early December has subsided and Middleton appears to be in good health.
It has been reported that the Duke and Duchess first child, who will be third in line to the British throne, is due in July. Watchers of the Royal Family speculate that perhaps Baby Wales will make its debut on July 1, which would have been Prince William’s mother Diana’s 53rd birthday. There has been no public report of the sex of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby.
