The Roxy Theatre Group, a performing arts program for children and youth, has partnered with Zelda Glazer Middle School after a long search for new space. The middle school, which has an arts and mass communication magnet program (Miami Arts Studio), is providing classrooms and a performance space to through the end of the school year. Zelda Glazer Middle School at 15015 SW 24th St, Miami, FL 33185.

Roxy, which is known for its large-cast musical productions and comprehensive arts programming, has been in search of a space since November, 2013.

The Theatre Department and The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University (South Campus), the Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center (City of Sweetwater), and the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair, all provided support and temporary space to RTG during their search for a facility.

“Miami Arts Studio 6-12 is excited to partner with The Roxy Theater Group to ensure the services provided to the children in our community continue to be offered at a school that understands the significance of offering academics complimented by a quality arts program,” said Miguel A. Balsera, Ed.D., Principal for Zelda Glazer Middle School.

The Roxy Theatre Group is a non-profit organization, offers performing arts programs for ages, 3-17, including year-round classes in drama, voice and dance, two after school care programs and a summer camp.
