Jazz pop performer Roxi Copland (pictured) will return to her former home (Des Moines) for a full band show at the Temple Theater. The concert will be the final stop on her album release tour for her latest effort, Truth Be Told. Tickets for the show are $21 to $41 through Ticketmaster. (The Temple Theater will allow in anyone over the age of five with a paid ticket.)

Des Moines mainstays The Nadas (featured video) will headline Nitefall on the River Friday night. The alt-country band will take the Simon Estes Amphitheater stage following New York alt-rockers Secret Someones. The Nadas released their latest album, Lovejoy Revival, in February of last year. Tickets for their 8 p.m. all ages Nitefall show are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. They may be purchased through Ticketfly.
