Today, Rovio announced their next “Angry Birds” title, “Angry Birds Go,” will be launching December 11, 2013. After mastering the sling-shot and space-flight, obviously the next logical step was down-hill racing. This kart racing title will feature everyone’s favorite characters racing upgradable karts with unique power-ups in the very first fully rendered 3D environment for an “Angry Birds” title. It will also fully support the “Telepods” function that was popularized with their last release, “Angry Birds Star Wars II”.
Rovio also took the time to tease a Halloween update for “Bad Piggies”. The update adds 30 additional levels as the “Tusk ‘til Dawn” episode, which introduces some creepy new piggies who live in a cake-filled world. It also features Major Lazer on the soundtrack, another first for the “Angry Birds” series.
The update for “Bad Piggies” is currently available for download on iOS, Android, and Mac with PC simply being touted as “soon”.
