Rouse and Okpalaugo to play in NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

Fresno State running back Robbie Rouse and linebacker Tristan Okpalaugo have committed to play in the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, according to the NFL Players Association.

The game will showcase 100 NFL prospects and give players the opportunity to learn from former coaches and players.

One week prior to the bowl game, the participants will be introduced to the union and be given information on the “business of football and how to succeed in the NFL and in post-football careers.”

The teams will be coached by former Kansas City Chiefs coach and current ESPN analyst Herm Edwards and Dick Vermeil, also a former Kansas City Chiefs coach.

Player Ambassadors will included Terrell Davis, Hank Baskett, Andre Reed and former Bulldog Lorenzo Neal.

The game will be televised live on ESPN2 on Saturday, Jan. 19 from The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. PT. ESPNU will air live broadcasts from practices on Thursday, Jan. 17.
