Player 1 Video Game Bar rounded out its Summer of Burgers with homages to two classics, the Knights of the Old Republic inspired Nerf Herder Double Burger with melty gouda cheese, savory onion jam, hardwood smoked bacon, and peppercorn mayo, and the Super Mario Bros Goomba Burger with provolone cheese, mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella, and pesto. Over the past several weeks, Chef Mark has brought us burger magic. The chef's creations were so wildly popular that he nearly ran out of supplies every single week! The Hungry Games have ended, the tributes have been tested. The winners were everyone who got to indulge in the amazing burgers. But don’t lament the end of summer just yet! The fans (and the chef) have spoken, and the Summer of Burgers will continue with three more glorious, game-inspired burgers!

Tuesday, August 12 take on the devil’s fury with the Diablo III burger, Fuego de Diablo, topped with grill-fired jalapenos, red hot sriracha mayo, and spicy pepper jack cheese. Some may think this burger is hell unleashed, but not to worry. If you run out of manna, you can calm the flames with a side of Chef Mark’s very own cool and refreshing Greek Watermelon Salad and an ice cold beer, of course!

The following Tuesday, August 19, Chef Mark is serving up a burger that will get you to hit the ground running, the GTA San Andreas Hot Coffee Burger with a kick of taco sauce, smooth refried beans, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy tortilla strips. The Summer of Burgers will come to a close on Tuesday, August 26 with the Chef’s choice, Jade Empire Master Li Burger, topped with a yin and yang, spicy-sweet pairing of pickled ginger, wasabi aioli, and grilled pineapple. Chef Mark will have a unique side to accompany each burger.

Burgers are $10 for members, $12 for non-members. Keep an eye out on the Player 1 Video Game Bar Facebook page for drink specials and other upcoming events!
