After a tough performance Friday night in Toronto, the Calgary Roughnecks bounced back Saturday night in Minnesota with a close 17-16 road victory in National Lacrosse League action.
Scott Ranger led the Roughnecks with six goals while Shawn Evans led the Roughnecks with nine assists and 11 points. Veteran Geoff Snider is continuing his strong play in Calgary as he collected 18 loose balls and won 17 of 21 faceoffs.
The Roughnecks had a 9-5 lead at halftime, only to see the Swarm march back in the third quarter to tie the score at 13.
The Roughnecks continue to lead the Western Division. At 5-3, they have a one game lead on the Washington Stealth.
The Roughnecks' next game is Saturday in Washington, with their next home game against the Edmonton Rock on Saturday, March 2 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
