Roughnecks beat Swarm 15-11

According to the National Lacrosse League website, the Calgary Roughnecks defeated the Minnesota Swarm 15-11 Saturday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary.

Jeff Shattler of Edmonton, Alberta led the Roughnecks attack with six points (two goals and four assists). A forward, Shattler moved into ninth place in National Lacrosse League scoring with 63 points (26 goals and 37 assists).

The Roughnecks were actually behind 2-1 after the first quarter, and the second and third quarters were played very even, before Calgary dominated the fourth quarter by outscoring Minnesota 6-2.

With the victory, the Roughnecks improve to 8-5, while the Swarm drop to 3-10.

The Roughnecks' next game is in Philadelphia on Friday night, with their next home game against the perfect Edmonton Rush on April 12. That will be Calgary's final home game of the season because four of the Roughnecks' five regular season games in April are away from the Scotiabank Saddledome.
