Rotary plans 1st 'Taste of Middletown'

MIDDLETOWN, NY -- The Middletown Rotary is getting into the popular "taste" fundraiser business with its first-ever "Taste of Middletown"  scheduled for Sunday, May 6.

The event, which will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Promenade (formerly the Southwinds) on Fulton Street, will feature dishes from chefs at local restaurants and catering businesses.

Confirmed so far:

• John Botti, owner/chef, John's Harvest Inn

• Benoit Turpin, Pleasant Stone Farm

• Stephanie Stack, Catlin Gardens

• George and Beth Skyba, Texas Roadhouse

• Allen Zoghby, owner of Blueberry Mountain Ice Cream

• Karen Treacy, Jeff Szabo and Terrance Coyle, Promenade
