Rotaract KC to host silent auction and party on March 1

Rotaract KC is hosting its first annual fundraiser, The Social Party Annual Silent Auction, on Saturday, March 1 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Black On Burlington, 1327 Burlington Ave., North Kansas City, MO.

Funds raised at the event will benefit a variety of Kansas City area organizations.

Rotaract is a service club for young men and women ages 21 to 35 who are dedicated to community and international service. Its membership totals over 184,000 in more than 8,000 clubs worldwide. The Kansas City chapter of Rotaract or “Rotaract KC” is a self-governing, self-supporting and community-based club that draws membership from the Greater Kansas City area.

The Rotary Club of Kansas City, Mo. and the Plaza Rotary Club sponsor Rotaract KC and offer guidance and support, making the club a true “partner in service” and a key member of the Rotary family.

Rotaract KC was launched and chartered in the fall of 2012.
