Ross, G-Men reunite after one season

Sometimes, the grass isn't as green on the other side as you once thought. Just ask the front office of the NFL's New York Giants and their new (old) defensive back, Aaron Ross.

After being drafted in the first round by the Giants in 2007, Ross was let go last season before entering free agency and ultimately signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ross played 14 games last season for the Jags and started nine on a three year deal that ended becoming a one year gig. Ross's absence from Jacksonville's secondary is largely in part to the new regime in place in Jacksonville with new General Manager Dave Caldwell and new Head Coach Gus Bradley.

the timing of the reunion couldn't have been better for Tom Coughlins Giants who were extremely thin at the secondary level last year. Now they get a player who is familiar with the system who won't break the bank.

The terms of Ross's new deal has not been made available as of the time this article was published.
