Rick Ross crashes his Rolls-Royce while trying to avoid gunfire. On Jan. 28, TMZ reported that Ross was driving on Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale around 5 a.m. today when multiple shots were fired from another vehicle, apparently aiming for Ross' car. He crashed the car in to the side of a building, however the damage did not look too bad.
"Cops say another vehicle had pulled up next to the Rolls when someone inside opened fire on Ross' car. Ross was not shot during the incident, nor was a female who was also inside the car," TMZ reported.
Rick Ross crashed his Rolls-Royce, likely because he either lost control of the vehicle or because he had was just focusing on getting away from the shots and wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. Neither Ross, or the woman in the car (identified as his girlfriend, Shateria L. Moragne-el) were injured in the accident. The car did require a tow.
As far as the gunfire, police are looking for the suspects who fled the scene before the police arrived. It is believed (based on the information in the initial reports), that someone was trying to shoot Ross. Just last month there were death threats made against him. There is no word if there could be a connection between said threats and this morning's gunfire.
Ross crashing his Rolls-Royce is definitely the smallest piece of this puzzle.
