New reports are out that Rosie O'Donnell could be returning to "The View." Information is out that Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are both exiting for sure. They will need to be replaced and there are a lot of rumors flying about how it is all going to end up going down. On Tuesday, Fox News shared the reports about how she could be joining the show.
Reports early in the day said that she was close to signing a deal but as the day went on TMZ shared that it is already done. She was on the show back in 2007 but it was very brief. She only lasted for one season and then left the talk show. Now she has the time to do a talk show again and sounds ready to join "The View" again.
Here is what an insider had to say, "The network executives really wanted Rosie back. They’re confident she has what it takes to add some controversy and drive the ratings up. It is a smart fit." When she was on the show originally, Rosie wanted to do it for one year and they wanted to keep her around for three. She has been back on the show since then and doesn't seem to have any problems getting along with everyone there.
Now the rumors are flying about who will be on "The View" but it looks like Rosie O'Donnell is close to signing a deal. There has been a lot of names thrown around including Sarah Palin and Andi Dorfman. There is also speculation that they will decide to put a man on the cast. Right now Whoopi Goldberg is the only one sticking around for sure so they will need at least two more if not three more people to join the show. They should make an announcement in the next month or so.
