On Saturday March 22, just shortly before the start of Jake Owen's Days of Gold tour show started, a Roseau Minn. woman received a very unexpected surprise while walking through the Bemidji Sanford Center's doors to get her ticket scanned for the concert. Suddenly she was showered with cannons of confetti and strobe lights flashing all around her.

Payton Lund was the lucky winner from Roseau Minn. who just happened to be Bemidji Sanford Center's 500,000 customer. The VenuWorks operated facility was celebrating three years of success by hosting the special event.

Lund, who is also a big Jake Owen fan, also won two backstage passes to meet Owen along with a giant commemorative ticket from Sanford Center, a customized Sanford Center chair, two free tickets to a future event at Sanford Center, concessions for the night provided by VenuWorks and a $100.00 gift certificate to local Italian restaurant Tutto Bene.
