Roseanne Barr's attempt to terrorize George Zimmerman's parents has brought about a lawsuit. Robert and Gladys Zimmerman have now filed a lawsuit against the comedienne. According to a March 12 report by TMZ, the Zimmermans were afraid for their lives after Roseanne posted comments about them on Twitter.

The Zimmermans' lawsuit claims that Roseanne caused them emotional distress. It also claims she tried to do them harm by inciting “mob violence.” George Zimmerman's parents believe all of this was done intentionally.

“Roseanne was upset about George Zimmerman shooting Trayvon Martin, calling it 'vigilante justice',” Fran Taylor, from Oklahoma City, said. “I wonder what she calls posting someone's address. That sounds awfully 'vigilante' to me.”

Roseanne did post angry comments about the Zimmermans on Twitter. She even posted their home address online. Because Roseanne posted their address, they had to leave their home. That was in 2012.

Robert and Gladys Zimmerman are suing for $15,000 in damages. That is the minimum that the couple can sue for. At the time of publication, Roseanne's response to the lawsuit was unknown.
