Rose Parade 2013 Showcase of Floats still on view (Video)

Although now over, The Rose Parade will be remembered as a rousing success for the 124th time after all those giant monuments on wheels took their ride of glory on Jan. 1. However, happily, the time-honored, flower-infused 2013 Showcase of Floats can still be admired if you get to Pasadena on Jan. 2 before 5 p.m.

Yes, that's right: Those visiting or living in Los Angeles still have time to take in the tour of these incredible floats. Indeed, the entire lot is now parked along Sierra Madre Blvd. between Sierra Madre Villa Ave. and Paloma St., as well as along Washington Blvd. between Woodlyn Rd. and Sierra Madre Blvd.

Cost to enjoy this fresh bounty of parade stars is $10, although kids under age 5 will see these beauties for free. Taking them in takes about two hours, so get going if you're going to catch the whole show.

A few things to remember if you're headed in the direction of the Rose Parade 2013 floats on Wednesday: Don't try to skateboard the route as boards aren't allowed and neither are bikes, Segways, or skates. And don't bring your friendly pet because he or she will be turned away as this is an adventure reserved just for human consumption.

That said, for more information on the Rose Parade 2013 Showcase of Floats, check in here and then get ready to have even more fun the day after New Year's Day by taking part in this fun event only available in the City of Angels.
