Rose Parade
The 121st Rose Parade was a feast for the eyes. The colorful floats and marching bands culminated in the Rose Bowl Football Game. The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade kicked off at 8:00am (PST) Friday morning, January 1st, 2010. The annual parade was first held January 1, 1890 in Pasadena, California.

The 2010 Rose Parade Grand Marshal was Captain Chesley Burnett "Sully" Sullenberger III. Captain Sullenberger was the pilot who heroically carried out the emergency landing and operation of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River, on January 15, 2009, saving the lives of all 155 people aboard. Past Grand Marshals have included Emeril Lagasse, George Lucas, William Shatner, Senator John Glenn, Kermit the Frog and Mickey Mouse.
