Rosa Mexicano launches Desayuno Mexicano (Photos)

Rosa Mexicano in Boston's Seaport District returns to its roots with the new Flavors of Mexico - a series of events this year focused on the varied influences in Mexican cuisines from around the globe as the chain's chefs take guests on a voyage that begins Feb. 23 through Mar. 10 with a look at Desayuno Mexicano - Mexican Breakfast.

Taste dishes such as Nopales Con Huevo - soft scrambled eggs and cactus paddle with fried pasilla chile, served with a soft roll spread with refried black beans, a cinnamon-Cascabel chile stuffed French Toast with Mascarpone cheese, among many other choices.

Other events in the Flavors series include the very popular Mexican Passover, Mar. 25-Apr. 2, The Art of Mexican Mixology from June 5 to 10th, an Ice Cream Festival, Jul. 31-Aug. 25, Mexican Truffle Celebration, Sept. 4-Oct.6 and Day of the Dead, Oct. 27-Nov.3.
