Rory McIlroy is one of the best golfers in the world, that's why fans were shocked at today's events at the Honda Classic. McIlroy packed up his clubs and left, literally
According to Yahoo! Sports on Mar. 1, McIlroy abruptly walked off the course Friday at the Honda Classic, telling reporters who followed him to his car he's "not in a good place mentally."
"There's not really much I can say, guys," McIlroy told three reporters before he drove away. "I'm not in a good place mentally, you know?"
McIlroy told reporters that there was nothing wrong with him physically, he just repeated that he wasn't in a "good place mentally." The 23-year-old later released a statement that his withdrawal was officially because of dental problems, saying he is suffering from a sore wisdom tooth.
McIlroy is only human, so if he is having a wisdom tooth problem, it can be very hard to concentrate.
However, if you wagered on McIlroy in the 2013 Honda Classic, do you get your money back since he quit?
