Record labelmates Sarah Jarosz and The Sam Bush Band will both appear live on Saturday, Sept. 26, on National Public Radio's A Prairie Home Companion program, with host Garrison Keillor.

Both roots-country acts will take part in the award-winning broadcast's live season debut, which will originate from the historic Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minn.

Texas native Jarosz, who is still a teen, recently released her debut CD for Sugar Hill Records, Song Up In Her Head, to critical acclaim earlier this year. At present, she's attending the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and performing live as often as possible. (To sample Jarosz's music, please access sarahjarosz.sugarhillrecords.com.)

As for her much-celebrated labelmate, recent Nashville Symphony-collaborator Bush is touring in support of his forthcoming CD, Circles Around Me, which will drop Oct. 20. A three-time Grammy winner, Bush, produced the 14-song set, which will include appearances by Del McCoury, Edgar Meyer, Jerry Douglas and New Grass Revival co-founder Courtney Johnson (posthumously). The album also employs the celebrated talent of Bush's band, which comprises Scott Vestal, Stephen Mougin, Byron House and Chris Brown.

When and where to listen: Regarding Saturday's PHC season-opener, it's set to air nationally 5-7 p.m. (CST), including in the Nashville market on 90.3 FM/ WPLN, which will rebroadcast the show 1-3 p.m. (CST) the following day, Sunday, Sept. 27.

For those not in the Music City area, please check local public radio stations for specific air times or visit prairiehome.publicradio.org for a live-audio webcast of the show.
