ROOT organic spirit cocktail recipes

ROOT is a new certified organic spirit introduced on the market by Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. Art of Age asserts this is the first true American liqueur on the market since the Pre-Prohibition era. It is 80 proof and 100% certified organic. ROOT is inspired by an 18th century Pennsylvania folk recipe which originated as Root Tea. During the Temperance Movement the alcohol was removed thus making the original recipe ‘new’ and turning Root Tea into Root Beer. ROOT is Art in the Age’s recreation of a genuine, purely potent, Root Tea. 

 

Official marketing materials describe ROOT as lively, rose gold in color and rustic with full, rich smoky flavor. This spirit is crafted with North American herbs and pure sugar cane. All botanicals are meticulously chosen and tested for purity. Anise, birch bark, cloves, cardamom, spearmint and citrus all go into ROOT to give this liqueur its small batch maximum quality taste.
