The live-action sequel to the beloved J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan also stars Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund playing Blackbeard and Hook respectively.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pan tells the tale of a young orphan boy from London who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. While there, he faces off against Blackbeard, the main villain.

Pan will be directed by Atonement’s Joe Wright.

In the original origins, Tiger Lily is the daughter of the Native Chief, making her a princess, and a loyal friend of Peter Pan. Her friendship with Pan leads Captain Hook to believe that Tiger Lily knows where Pan resides, thus capturing her until Pan saves her or she tells the truth about Pan’s hideout.

As to who will play the boy who refuses to grow up is unknown, though sources say there will be an open casting call for the character of Peter Pan with the age ranging from 10 to 12 years old.

Pan is being penned by Jason Fuchs with Greg Berlanti producing, and Sarah Schechter overseeing for the studio.

Warner Bros. dated Pan's theatrical release for July 17, 2015.
