Making an impact into our community is part of it.
With this in mind, we are thrilled to share that Rooms That Rock 4 chemo (RTR4C) will be holding its first annual fundraising gala on November 1, 2014.
What began with a simple philanthropic gesture by Nancy Linebarger Ballard (Founder of RTR4C who donated her botanical paintings to the dreary chemotherapy rooms in Dr. Hufford’s San Francisco medical office), exploded into a much bigger project.
Today, the San Francisco-based nonprofit organization with the help of interior designers and volunteers transforms bland treatment spaces into warm and cheerful rooms.
Just recently, San Francisco Giants starting pitcher, Matt Cain, celebrated the “tossing of the first paintbrush” to begin renovations on the San Francisco Giants-themed exam room in the infusion center of the Dignity Health Cancer Center at St. Mary’s in San Francisco.
This project has grown like wildfire, but to be able to spread their mission and impact the lives of many more chemotherapy patients, Rooms That Rock 4 chemo needs funds and resources.
Please save the date and help this “star” project continue to shine.
