Chloe is still an outsider, and she knows it. This episode, however, begins to change that. It’s great to have a brief Nick and Chloe moment because he is probably the person she gets along most with. They are friends with nothing romantic going on, and it’s fun to watch them. Traci discovers just how useful Chloe is, and there’s a moment of pride at seeing Chloe be valued for her skills. It’s doubtful that things will turn around for Chloe, but it would be great. She’s run her course as the sometimes joke of the division. Yes, she can still be wacky and funny, but there is great potential in giving her a storyline where she takes charge a bit more during an investigation. Did you enjoy seeing Traci and Chloe work together?
The boys, minus Nick, decide to go off and spend some quality time in a cabin. Unfortunately, this is not all fun and games. Oliver gets through to Sammy about his feelings for Andy. While he doesn’t say that Sam should break up with Marlo, but he does say that Sam needs to talk to Marlo about his feelings for Andy. This is definitely progress, and it’s nice to see Sam actually own up to how he is feeling. Chris and Dov work out most of their issues while strolling through the forest. First though, we need to take a moment to welcome Chris back to 15 Division! Yay! Clearly he is going through a lot of things, and it would have been nice to get more of a recap of where he is at now with Denise and all. Dov’s comment about Chris needed to do things he wants is spot on. What did you think about what all went on at the cabin?
Andy is going to tell Gail about her and Nick. She is going to tell Gail now. Well, maybe not now exactly, but soon. Of course, Andy takes forever to break the news, and when she does, she just sort of says it. What’s great about this storyline is Gail. Not only does she get high, which is absolutely fantastic, but she tells Andy that her punishment is that she is the bad guy. Gail has everyone’s sympathy in this situation because Andy is the bad guy. Now Gail hasn’t always been the easiest for viewers to relate to or sympathize with, but in this episode, it’s hard not to feel for Gail. She has come a long way from the annoying girl that no one really liked in season one. Did anyone else love Gail and the baby elephant?
