Roobios during pregnancy

If you have started down that path of pregnancy you know that your lifestyle changes that moment you find out you will be a mom soon. It doesn't matter if it is your first time or if you have gone through the miracle of child birth before, you know that moment when everything changes and your focus is now on making sure your baby is as healthy as possible. Everyone wants to have the healthiest baby possible and this is why many mothers to be will make changes to their diets, and that includes their warm beverages of choice.

While there is no need to cut caffeine out of your diet completely many mothers find more comfort by lowering the amounts they take in on a daily basis. One of the easiest ways to do this is to switch off of traditional teas such as black, white, and green and explore other alternatives. One of the most common go to drinks of expecting mothers is the newly appreciated "red tea" otherwise known as rooibos tea.

This is not an actual tea as it does not come from the tea plant, but it is 100% caffeine free. This drink will brew up into a nice rich red drink, which is where it derives its red tea moniker from, and provides a soothing sip in every cup.
