The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony was hosted in the Central Courtyard at Hollywood and Highland recently. Santa Claus was on hand to introduce the tree lighting ceremony. The evening featured live entertainment by Disney Recording artist Mitchel Musso, Dave Koz, American Idol alumni Kimberley Locke, Ace Young and Taylor Hicks, Player featuring Ronn Moss, Drake Bell, Los Angeles Gospel Choir, Kyle and Chris Massey and performers from Cirque du Soleil and many more.
Ronn Moss and Player are best known as a rock band from the 70s. They scored the first number single with their first single " Baby Come Back". The group released four album through out the 80s before continuing careers in music on their own. Ronn Moss, went on to acting and is Ridge Forrester on the TV soap opera " The Bold and the Beautiful". Player reformed years back with the release of "Best of Player" album. They performed two songs at the ceremony. Click on the link below to see them performing one song from the event.
