Ronda Rousey and winner of Tate-Zingano to coach next season of TUF (Video)

According to a March 16 report from Yahoo! Sports, UFC champ Ronda Rousey will coach opposite the winner of the Apr. 13 fight between Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano, on the next season of "The Ultimate Fighter."

UFC President Dana White said the show will not feature only female athletes trying to earn a UFC contract.

The upcoming season of TUF will showcase both male and female bantamweights who are trying to win a spot in the top MMA promotion in the world. The athletes will train together and live together in a house in Las Vegas, Nev.

Tryouts for bantamweight hopefuls will take place on Apr. 15 in Las Vegas, and are open to both males and females.

The current season of TUF, coached by UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his upcoming opponent Chael Sonnen, has injected new life into the show, and a season featuring female fighters for the first time, will help freshen up the formula.

White's announcement also essentially confirmed that the winner of Miesha Tate vs Cat Zingano will fight Ronda Rousey for a UFC championship later this year, or perhaps in early-2014.

If Tate wins her Apr. 13 bout against Zingano, she'll get a crack at the women who has been her fiercest rival since 2011.

Tate and Rousey fought for the Strikeforce bantamweight belt last March, and had plenty of animosity with each other before and after the bout.

Besides a back-and-forth war of words on Twitter, Rousey even called out Miesha Tate's boyfriend, Bryan Caraway.
