According to a Feb. 25 report from Yahoo! Sports, UFC star Ronda Rousey admits being distracted by the wardrobe malfunction she suffered during her UFC 157 fight against Liz Carmouche.
During the Rousey vs Carmouche main event bout at UFC 157, "Girl-rilla" took the star judoka's back and had her in a tight neck crank. The crank was so deep that many thought Rousey was about to tap out, but "Rowdy" says she was never really worried about it.
Rousey's main concern during the neck crank was having her breasts exposed to the thousands on hand at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., along with the thousands watching on television.
“On the ground I feel so comfortable in every position, so I never feel in danger and I take a lot of risks. I felt fine with her on my back. I was more concerned with my sports bra staying on while she was choking me because I felt safe and in control," Rousey said.
The second time during the fight that Rousey came close to suffering a wardrobe malfunction was when Carmouche landed an up kick that landed clean on the standout judoka's left breast.
The up kick from Carmouche came close to pulling Rousey's top down, which would have exposed her fancy lady parts to the thousands in attendance.
Luckily for Rousey, she was able to stay covered up during the fight.
"I was thinking about my bra, actually. I kept thinking, I didn't order this one myself, so they gave me my weigh in bra for the fight," Rousey said at the UFC 157 post-fight presser. "If you look back, I was adjusting myself at one point while she was on my back. Multitasking!"
No word yet on who Rousey fights next in the UFC, but hopefully she'll find a sports bra that fits correctly the next time she enters the cage.
