To celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Willow,” director Ron Howard and star Warwick Davis will be hosting an “Artist to Artist Twitter chat” on Tuesday, March 12, from 2-2:30 p.m. PST. According to a March 4 report from SlashGear.com, fans will have the opportunity to tweet questions by using the hashtag #WillowChat. Howard’s Twitter username is @RealRonHoward, while Davis’ is @WarwickADavis.
The 25th anniversary edition of “Willow” will release on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack the same day of the Twitter chat. There are many special features, including a personal video diary from Davis; deleted scenes that feature remarks from Howard; matte paintings; and much more. There will also be a new introduction by Howard for the 1988 featurette, “The Making of an Adventure,” as well as special effects legend Dennis Muren’s new introduction to his piece, “From Morf to Morphing: The Dawn of Digital Filmmaking.”
