Ron Howard and Warwick Davis will discuss ‘Willow’ 25th anniversary on Twitter

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Willow,” director Ron Howard and star Warwick Davis will be hosting an “Artist to Artist Twitter chat” on Tuesday, March 12, from 2-2:30 p.m. PST. According to a March 4 report from SlashGear.com, fans will have the opportunity to tweet questions by using the hashtag #WillowChat. Howard’s Twitter username is @RealRonHoward, while Davis’ is @WarwickADavis.

The 25th anniversary edition of “Willow” will release on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack the same day of the Twitter chat. There are many special features, including a personal video diary from Davis; deleted scenes that feature remarks from Howard; matte paintings; and much more. There will also be a new introduction by Howard for the 1988 featurette, “The Making of an Adventure,” as well as special effects legend Dennis Muren’s new introduction to his piece, “From Morf to Morphing: The Dawn of Digital Filmmaking.”
