Ron Burgundy won’t be pleased when he finds out his newsroom was targeted by thieves. The fictional character of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues wasn't in the building when the set of the film was robbed, but that doesn't mean he won’t be angered over the incident. On Tuesday it was reported that the movie set in Atlanta was hit by thieves who took off with $300,000 worth of wiring and equipment. Apparently no Sex Panther cologne was taken during the robbery and fans are extremely grateful that something might have been left behind.
A burglary isn't that untypical in life as there are thieves everywhere, but the fans of this movie are coming together to spread the news of the robbery. Fans have taken to Twitter and other social media accounts to let others know about the loss in case anything noticeable shows up. Ron Burgundy’s case might get solved quicker than others as the fans don’t appreciate anyone messing with the newsroom master.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. While the movie hasn’t been in production for a long time, the cast is expected come together for a release in December. Hopefully that won’t change with the plundering of the set.
