Rome Police are searching for a missing teenager from the West Rome area.

A missing fifteen-year-old girl was last seen Wednesday morning at approximately 8 a.m. as she was leaving her residence to go to school.
Detective Gore of the Rome Police Department learned that the teen did not attend any classes at her school yesterday and reports indicate that she took all of her clothing with her. It is possible that she may have a large bag with her containing all of her clothing.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black Aeropostale sweat pants, white t-shirt with black and gray tennis shoes.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Rome Police Department or 911. Detective Gore fears that the missing teen may be in danger. The non-emergency number for 911 is 706-236-4542.
The Rome Police Department posted a missing child alert on their Facebook page asking for the public's assistance.
