Biaggis: Champaign, Il

A great first choice is in Biaggis located in Champaign, Illinois. The fine Italian restaurant presents romantic dining spots set for two or larger for groups as well. On the tables set delicious and addicting baskets of homemade bread with a special seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. Biaggis also offers a list of wines to making your dining experience just a bit more special. You can order a glass or dine on a bottle to perhaps even take home. For those couples who want to make the evening last just a little bit longer, you can carry home a delightful dessert that will take your palate into the wee hours of the early morning.

Alamo Steakhouse: Mattoon, Il

If you are in Mattoon, Illinois, you can dine at the Alamo Steakhouse. The steakhouse has a couple different flows for your dining experience. The bottom half of the restaurant is made up of a bar area and the upper levels are used for guests who would like to dine outside the bar. The décor is a western yet classic feel that is paired with pleasant and upbeat atmosphere. Begin your dinner date with choice drinks such as margaritas, daiquiris, martinis or draft beers. Non-alcohol drinkers can also enjoy ice teas and soda. For something simple to "hold you over," until dinner is served, snack on appetizers such as quesadillas, mini cheeseburgers or chicken strips. Entree meals include Porterhouse steaks, Angus New York Strip, halibut, lobster and crab or a Yankee pot roast. The steakhouse is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
