Romance and chocolate at San Diego County Library

On Friday, February 10 at 11:00 am, the Rancho San Diego Library will present Romance and Chocolate. There will be four San Diego romance authors at the event, each of whom writes in a different romance sub genre. In addition to the writers, the event will feature chocolate treats from Java Express courtesy of the Friends of the Rancho San Diego Library.

Frans Leppanen, a Rancho San Diego Library Librarian, described why the library is sponsoring the event. “It provides a chance for people who like romance novels to meet local authors, for authors to spread the word about their work, and to let people know about the variety of materials offered by the library.”

Terry Irene Blain is the author of two historical romance novels, Colorado Silver, Colorado Gold and Kentucky Green. In Colorado Silver, Colorado Gold, a socialite flees Philadelphia to 'visit' her uncle in Durango where she meets an undercover agent for Wells Fargo. The two fall in love—but both conceal their reasons for being in Durango.
