Roman Polanski accuser Charlotte Lewis has Charlie Sheen connection

"Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen can't seem to stay out of the spotlight -- even when it does not directly involve him. For evidence of this, all you have to do is hear the latest news regarding Charlotte Lewis, a British actress who came forward early Friday accusing director Roman Polanski of sexually abusing her when she was 16 years old.

Accompanied by her attorney Gloria Allred Friday morning at a press conference, Lewis proclaimed that Polanski -- who is already fighting extradition to the United States amidst charges of sexual assault -- sexually abused me in the worst possible way when I was 16 years old.”

So how does Sheen fit into all this? The now 42-year old actress (according to Radar Online) later went on to have a relationship with the actor in the late 1990s, and was also linked to other celebrities as musician Eric Clapton and comedian Eddie Murphy. (There is photographic evidence of Sheen's relationship with Lewis right here.)

Since Charlie Sheen has reportedly nothing to do with Lewis anymore, he will probably resort to trying to figure out his current problems -- including getting a new contract for his CBS show.

Stay tuned, and I will have more of the latest news as it becomes available. (To view highlights of Sheen on "Two and a Half Men," click here.)

The fact that Gloria Allred is involved almost makes me wonder if this woman is telling the truth. Not to say that Polanski isn't good for another rape, but Allred is always in the middle of some kind of shakedown scheme. The woman should have gotten another attorney if she wants people to take this seriously.
