Roma Downey is speaking out about her show "The Bible" and casting Jesus for the role. On March 10, People reported that she had to do everything she could to find the perfect person for the role. Do you think that Diogo Morgado was the right choice for the role?
She says that they were about six weeks from filming starting and they still had not found the perfect person for the role. Roma asked friends to help her find the right person. She saw his tape and knew she had to meet him to check him out in person.
Diogo was already traveling to LA and she was able to meet with him. He met with her husband Mark Burnett and Roma so they could decide if he was perfect for the role. They were able to find the perfect actor and he will be seen in the second half of the series.
