Rolo-stuffed snickerdoodle dough bites

Combine two of the best sweets, candy and cookie dough, in this easy recipe!

1 ½ cups flour
1 ¾ tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup butter, room temp
2/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup and 3 tbsp. sugar
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
3 tbsp. heavy cream
1 ½ tsp. vanilla

In a bowl, stir together the flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a mixer, combine butter, brown sugar, ¼ cup sugar, and cream of tartar until fluffy. Add in the heavy cream and vanilla, then slowly combine with the dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine 3 tbsp. sugar and ¾ tsp. cinnamon. For each rolo, scoop out 1 tbsp. of the dough and form a ball around the candy. Roll in the cinnamon sugar. You can either serve now or chill first.
